This song subject matter is about the challenges of a long distance relationship, but I wanted to make it wistful and playful. I was inspired by the likes of 60’s female pop artists such as Françoise Hardy and Astrud Gilberto.

I enlisted longtime friend and collaborator Wayne Bell to produce the track, with Oliver Harmer adding his mastering finesse.

The song begins with soft acoustic guitar and a peart, plucked violin riff, then waxes and wanes with soaring strings and ethereal but poised vocals highlighting the song’s theme. A sweeping and lush instrumental interlude carries the song to its final verse and conclusion.
